Day 7 – Departure
We have an early wake up call today as we depart this beautiful country with lifelong memories and get dropped off at the Kutaisi Airport.
Georgia is situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. The country regained its independence in 1991, declaring its aspiration to join the European and Euro-Atlantic world and to regain its place in the European family to which Georgia has always belonged.
It is still considered an underrated and mysterious destination by many – but if you’ve been to Georgia, you’ll fondly remember its charm, beauty and warm hospitality. And it might be a small nation, sitting between Europe and Asia, but it has a lot to offer – with ancient cities, Unesco World Heritage Sites, snowcapped mountains, lush nature and delicious wine.
