Our journey through Morocco will showcase its vibrant blend of ancient traditions and modern culture. Begin in Marrakech, where the lively streets and bustling souks reflect the city’s rich history and contemporary charm. Enjoy a guided tour of the city, exploring its iconic palaces, gardens, and vibrant markets.
Venture into the heart of Morocco with visits to the ancient cities of Fes and Meknes, where you’ll encounter centuriesold medinas, stunning architecture, and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert, with their dramatic landscapes, serene oases, and endless dunes, offering moments of peace and unforgettable photo opportunities.
- Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and the 5th largest in the world, with the tallest minaret (689 ft) and a capacity of 105,000 worshipers.
- Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
- See the Hassan Tower, an unfinished monument planned to be the largest mosque by Sultan Yacoub Al Mansour.
- Visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the tomb of the late Moroccan king.
- Drive to Chefchaouen via the foothills of the Rif Mountains.
- Arrive in Chefchaouen, known as “The Blue City of Morocco,” with its stunning whitewashed walls and blue doors.
- The city is situated at the base of two mountains and features unique Moorish architecture influenced by Spanish occupation.
- Spend the afternoon exploring the city at your own pace or relaxing.
- Arrive at Volubilis, a well-preserved Roman site from 225 BC, featuring stunning mosaics from the 3rd century BC.
- Enjoy a guided tour of Volubilis to learn about the Roman Empire.
- Continue to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco.
- Visit Bab Mansour gate, the granary, and Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation.
- Explore the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum in Meknes.
- Travel via the highway to Fes.
- Explore Fes, known as the “Spiritual City of Morocco.”
- Spend the morning exploring the Medina and its alleys.
- Visit cultural and historical sites, including Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), Medrasa Bouanania, Tanneries, and Najjarine Fountain.
- After lunch, visit the Royal Palace gate and walk through the Jewish quarter, “the Mellah.”
- Visit a pottery cooperative.
- End the day with a drive to a fortress for a panoramic view of the Medina of Fes.
- Travel southeast along the Caravan roads to Merzouga.
- First stop at Ifrane, known as the “Little Switzerland of Africa.”
- Visit the Cedar Forest, the largest in Morocco, located in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you may spot Barbarian apes.
- Continue through the high desert, observing the changing scenery toward Er Rachidia.
- Travel along the lush Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, renowned for date cultivation.
This region is the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty.
- Wake up early for a stunning sunrise in the desert.
- Enjoy breakfast at the camp before trekking back to Merzouga.
- Admire the changing beauty of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes along the way.
- After breakfast in the riad, depart for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges—the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco.
- Have lunch in the heart of the gorge.
- Drive through the Dades Valley to see majestic sand castles and unique rock formations known as “monkey toes.”
- Travel through the Dades Valley, known as the “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs,” offering countless photo opportunities.
- Stop at Kalaa Mgouna, the “Rose City,” to buy rosewater for a fragrant reminder of your trip.
- Continue to Skoura and the Birds Valley; visit the well-preserved Kasbah Amridil if you wish.
- Head to Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- Learn about its history as a stop for Berber chieftains traveling from subSaharan Africa to Marrakech.
- Explore Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” known for its stunning landscapes and movie sets.
- Discover the “Red City of Morocco” with visits to Jemaa El Fna Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Coranic School.
- Lunch near Jemaa El Fna, followed by a visit to Majorelle or Anima Gardens and a tour of Marrakech’s new city.
- Optional next-day activities include a Moroccan Hammam, a cooking class, or free time to explore Marrakech.
- Explore Marrakech’s top attractions: Jemaa El Fna, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Coranic School.

Yes, there are leisurely evenings and adequate periods of free time for rest and relaxation.
If you arrive early or plan to stay after the trip ends, you will need to arrange your own accommodation and transport for the additional days.
All accommodations provided will be dual sharing either twin sharing or Queen/ King size basis availability.Private room is possible in certain destinations but an additional supplementary charges will be applicable.
